10 weeks!!!

Really, Kinda of Crazy saying that my little girl is 10 weeks old. She really has grown the last month. She is now 11.8lbs and 24 inches, she is really going to be a tall little girl. I love being a MOM and never thought I would be a good one or be able to take care of a little baby. But this little girl is teaching Matt and me so much about ourselves that we are really doing a good job as parents. So far!!! GOD has really blessed us as a family.

I really love this verse. It really shows me when I get down or upset about where Matt and me are financially, that no matter what God has a bigger plan for us and one day we will see it. Whether here on earth or in Heaven. God is so Awesome is truely is here to bless us as he sees fit. Im truely blessed to have a Husband that loves me so much and would do anything for me and a new baby girl (McKenzie) who is my world. I dont know what I would do with out her in our life. I know sometimes things seem hard or me having to go to work and leave her, may seem hard. But I know that I have to do all that I can to provide for my family, and God will take care of the rest. I love my family and the house that we live in. God is really so awesome that Im here to serve him in everything that I do. I want to show his Light in me to everyone around me.

Marriage

I can't believe in just 11 days I will be married for 3 years to my Wonderful Husband. It really has flown by. But then again I can't believe in Dec we will be together 9 years. I am truly blessed to have and be able to call Matthew Jefferson Webb my Husband and now the father of my child. God really did fit to more perfect people together. I love him more then anything. And now even more can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him and our new little girl (McKenzie).

5 Weeks

5 weeks!!! I cant believe she is 5 weeks old. It really has gone by fast. Before I know it My little girl will be one. Please.... everything slow down. I dont want her to be one yet. I want her to stay little for at least 5 years and then she can grow up. McKenzie truely has been a blessing to us. Even through all the sleepless nights and weird feedings. I wouldnt change any of it for the world.


McKenzie took her first road trip to Louisana with her Nana and Mommy on Aug. 23, 2010. She really enjoyed it. On the way there she sleep the whole 4 hours and on the way back she sleep like 3 hours and then woke up and wanted to eat. She got to meet her Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma while there. It is really neat to know that she will have that memory of being able to meet her great great Grandma just like her mommy did when she was little.

The day I became a mom!!!

So most of you know that I was pregnant with our first little girl. She was due August 10 2010. I went for a appt on July 27 2010, and was getting my one week check when to our suprise I was already dilated to 2 centimeters and was told according to the ultrasound that we were going to be having a big baby. So Dr. Bobo decided it was best to go ahead and induce on Sunday. Which was fine with me since I only had 2 more weeks to go until her due date. So I went home and still was having some back pains (which I had for about a week or so). I decided to put some ice on it like I had been doing which made it feel much better. Then got up on Wed morning went to work like I normally had been doing. All day my back was hurting off and on. I decided to go up stairs to my Ob doctors office and see if they could check me again. Of course the doctor was gone so the nurse said if I wanted too I could go across to the Hospital and they could hook me up to the monitors and see if i was having contractions and how far along they were. So I did and sure enough I was contracting and so the resident come in and checked me and I was already dilated to 4. So they called Dr. Bobo and she decided to go ahead and keep me in. So Mom and Matt came up there and spent the night with me. The next morning they started potosin at 5 am and then the doctor came in the break my water at around 6. I was dilated to 6 by then and so we decided to go ahead and do the epidural just in case. So they did the epidural at 7:30am and ended up having to put in a ICP so that McKenzie could have some warm water around her head so she would drop. So sure enough that did the trick and she dropped and I was dilated to 8 centimeters. So they decided to go ahead and start doing practice pushes to get ready. So just 1hr and 30 mins later I had my little baby girl. She was born on July 29 2010 weighing 7lbs 13oz and 19 inches long. Gorgeous as ever and so sweet to her mommy. Matt and my mom got to experience all of it with me. Which I really think Matt enjoyed getting to cut the cord and see the birth of our child. I have now been home almost two weeks and I have really loved being a mom. It has kinda been hard since I was not able to continue the breastfeeding once we were asked to stop due to her being Jaundice. But I still had about a week of breastfeeding with her to have the bonding time. I will unfortunately being going back to work in 6-8 weeks. I will really miss her while at work but Im really trying not to think about it right now.

Baby girl

This will be my first blog on here and dont really know how to do it or what exactly to write on here either. But Im sure I will get used to it at some point.

Well on Monday April 12,2010 We found out we are having a little GIRL... Yes, that it right Danielle and Matt are having a girl. I know what you are thinking, Like they really need a little girl, She is going to be so spoiled!!! But we are really excited about it though. And are really ready for the chance to be parents. We are a little nervous and will probably have questions but God is truly on our side and he will help us in every aspect of raising a baby.

We truly have been blessed with being pregnant and get to experience being pregnant. Im now 23 weeks and I only have 17 more weeks to go. I just cant believe how quick it has gone, before I know it I will be giving birth to a baby and she will be all mine. I really cant wait to a little girl to call me MOM. And know that no matter what Im there for her and so is her DAD.

Okay so this is just the first lets hope I can figure everything else out along the way.
